I live in Oregon but hail from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I live with my sister. Our menagerie consists of my dog Kai, her cats Luke and Frida, and my cat Vince -- named in honor of a hero of mine, Vince Lombardi. I garden and feed the birds, write, read, and enjoy doing theater work. Mostly I love animals of all kinds. They enhance my life and challenge my perspective on a daily basis.
